Tango & Jango Day Next Weekend in London

and Manchester Stuff!...

 

Hello!

Straight to the point, I need more men for the Tango/Jango workshop coming up next weekend, 16th of August, in London.  Read below for more details on that!

I’m currently up in Manchester, teaching for Revolution Dance Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, so if you are up this way check out below and come to one of the classes and freestyles!  I’m also teaching a Tango workshop this coming Sunday in Manchester, with a few more spaces left email me for details. 

The following weekend I’m back in London for just two days, which is of course long enough to teach the next Tango and Jango Workshop!  Really need more men for this one so if you think that is you, get booking!

For the end of August and half of September I’m in Paris then Madrid, mainly dancing Tango but researching some other styles as well.  Anyway, I’ll be back doing regular teaching in London and several workshops around the UK from the middle of September, and will get you some more details on then very soon!

1. Tango & Jango Workshop Day Next Weekend in London!

Saturday 16^th of August

We had such fun with this in June that we’re doing it again!  This is a double workshop afternoon to meet the needs of old and new Tango and Jango dancers alike!

12pm – 2pm: Sensual Argentinean Tango Steps – Beg/Int level

2.30pm – 4.30pm Flashy Footwork Combos Perfect for Both Tango and Jango – Int/Adv

The first workshop is for new comers to Tango, or those in their first year.  It is a pure Argentine Tango workshop, so we as well as learning how to lead and follow some great sequences you’ll get introduced to some tango music and culture.  The lovely Monica, one of London’s finest tango dancers, will be there helping me out, so don’t miss it!

The second workshop is full of fancy Tango stuff which is perfect for anyone that has danced Tango or Jango a little longer.  We’ll breakdown a sequence, and show you how to use it in either Tango or Modern Jive. Great!

Ladies you can still book with a partner, but at the moment I have too many single women, and that isn’t something I say lightly. 

Booking and cost
You can choose one workshop for £15 or two for £25.  Email me amir@jango.co.uk asap to secure your place, with your name, phone number, and indicating which of the following you want to take part in.  Payment should be made on the day as I am of no fixed abode right now!

The hall lets in lots of sunny daylight, and opens out into a lovely mini court yard perfect during the breaks.

 Tonight, and then for one more week only, I'm around Manchester enjoying the vibrant Modern Jive scene with Revolution Dance.  Come along to:

3. Tango Workshop This Sunday 10^th Aug, 1 – 4pm, £25
