Join us at the BritRock Ball and have a sneak preview of some of the competition music which will be played throughout the evening - we're not going to tell you which tracks of course...and to dance with some of the best dancers in the country.

BritRock Competition
- Doors open at 10.30am
- Competition day starts with introduction of hosts, Gordon and Sarah and Judges at 11.45 promptly
- 12.00 pairing up for the first heats of Dance With A Stranger
- The competition starts with the 1st Heat of DWAS at 12.30pm
- The heats for all categories continue for the whole day with regular freestyle breaks for the competitors to cool down and the spectators to warm up
It is with great sadness and shock that we announce the tragic loss of Charles Shirvell. As well as his well known roles in Chicago, Phantom Of The Opera, Miss Saigon, Les Misérables and Carousel he was also a founder member of Westenders and operated his own entertainment company, Charles Shirvell Entertainment.
We know Charles was very much looking forward to the Britrock event. Similarly, we eagerly looked forward to the value he would have brought to our dynamic day.
Our thoughts and sincere condolences go to all of his family and friends.

- The Awards and presentations for winners and runners up commences at 9.30pm
- Freestyle starts straight after the awards through until 1.00am Sunday morning. This is the spectators chance to try out some of the finals tracks from the days competition categories as well as enjoy a mix of music with your Music Director Sally Pownall aka DJ Bunnie with guest DJ James Shepherd from Latin Style Jive.
