Some New Dance Video Web Sites

TheDancingChannels
From Ron at TheDancingChannels:

Our service is video orientated, but we do tend to lean more towards promoting the welfare of the dancers and dance enthusiasts.

thedancingchannels.com makes competition and dance events available live and recorded as video downloads over the internet. As Quasar Video, we have been recording and supplying videos to the dance world for over 30 years and the official videographer and exclusive video/DVD producer for the Blackpool Dance Festival for the last 17 years.

Since our launch as thedancingchannels.com in May this year, we have provided online video coverage of the Blackpool Dance Festival and German Open in Stuttgart – at Fullscreen DVD quality.

We are excited that in November we will be showing The Salsa World Championship from Miami USA, and broadcasting the World Ballroom Championships from Blackpool - LIVE. We are also broadcasting a number of other international events over the next year, full details of forthcoming events can be found on our website.

We are currently running a campaign aimed at improving competitors' changing facilities at events - a number of photographs of dancers changing in dressing rooms and behind the audience have appeared online and we would like to ensure this is stopped. We are concerned about the welfare of those in the dancing community and a large part of our website is aimed at providing free help and advice to help dancers and their supporters and fans.

The feedback in support of our campaign we have received has been overwhelming and thedancingchannels.com would like to invite you to become a supporter of Dancing With Dignity campaign and the principles detailed. The more support we can develop the easier it will be for us to assist, but where necessary bring pressure on, event venues and organisers to improve competitor facilities. As a video production company, we have contact with event organisers and venues, so can bring dancers’ needs to their attention.
