The story of Mary
Sarah's Modern Jive has it's own Registered Charity 'Build a Future in Kenya' Registered Number 1112412.

Sarah and the other trustees pride themselves in the promise that EVERY penny that you give goes directly to helping children in Kenya. Our last trip to Kenya Nov 2008, an 11 year old girl called Mary and her father were two rather wonderful people that got helped along the way click here for the full story and photos

Thank you all for coming along, particularly those individual characters that travelled in from further away, adding to the already fabulous evening.  DJ Funk Masters music mix went down extremely well which included some of the tracks from our newly formed  music club.

Carol Mocket raised over £100 towards her teaching English trip to Ghana, a big thanks to you from her.

Paul & Nicky's Baby
Paul & Nicola Young will be attending for the last time this coming Wednesday, 25th June before they have their baby. I hope you'll join us in wishing them all the best for the future and come to say good luck.

After which, taking the intermediate classes for the first couple of Wednesdays whilst they are away will be Sarah and Albert, then alternating weeks with Sarah & David Keen/Albert

Beginner 'Smooth Jive' Workshop for Intermediates
Smooth Jive is the way forward in LeRoc Modern Jive, it concentrates on 'Lead & Follow and working 'In a Slot' with well instructed smooth moves that feel comfortable for yourself and your partner.

Not wanting to leave anyone behind Sandra and James our Crew, Consolidation and teachers at Bexhill will be getting back to us shortly today to confirm 3 consecutive months of Improver Workshops to take place in Aug, Sept & Oct at Stone Cross Memorial Hall.
This is for all those who have expressed an interest in progressing with your jive.

Beginner/Improver Workshop
Also to be held at Stone Cross Memorial Hall, possibly Sunday 13th July
Both great value at only £22pp.

Please be thinking/asking around for some-one to join you on the workshop,
which will have an option to rotate or be fixed partner
