For music lovers we have, exclusive to Sarah's Modern Jive, a FANTASTIC evening of Cocktails & Jive to 'RetrOactive' an amazing 10 piece band. Last Friday at Eastbourne Town Hall 'First Friday Freestyle' we all enjoyed Terry's birthday with extra trimmings and celebrations and another fabulous dance demonstration from the UK Jive Champions. The next First Friday Freestyle with Simon & Nicole is Friday 1st Aug with a 'Summer Theme'

BritRock Ltd 2008
This year the spectacular event will be held over Friday 10th and Saturday 11th October. As usual you can expect the VERY best of organisation, skill, talent, heats and performances running perfectly on time. The music is as always 2nd to none, provided by DJ Bunny aka Sally Ford, organised and seamlessly assisted by her loving companion Gordon Pownall.

RockBottoms have played a major role in BritRock over the last few years, but this year have decided to return the competition to Sarah Johnson. We would like to thank them for their contributions to date and wish them all the best in future.

The Friday BritRock Ball
For extra glamour and razzamatazz - RetrOactive the fabulous 10 piece band will be performing at the Friday Night BritRock Ball, doors open at 8pm, icebreaker at 8.15pm - then let the evening commence, get your very best glad rags on and be thrilled by the evening as it unfolds, dancing to a mixture of band and DJ music with many of the UK's finest dancers warming up for the next days events

The Competition
Very much running as all previous years, pristine conditions, organisation 2nd to none, with the most talked about DJ music of all competitions.

Teaching  - Thursday's at Bexhill

• On three consecutive Thursdays Sarah Johnson & Alan branch take the Beginners and Sarah Johnson & Graham LeClerc UK Freestyle & Spotlight Champions will be very carefully explaining the fine teaching tips of moves from their award winning Spotlight routine - 'Simply Irresistible' which are also available on DVD, for an excerpt click here
