MAY DAY BANK HOLIDAY FREESTYLE THIS SUNDAY 4 MAY

Join us for a spectacular freestyle this Sunday at Askern Miners' Welfare Club. The theme is Dress to Impress. Doors open 7.30pm. Dancing through till 11.40pm.

OSSETT TOWN HALL CLOSED FROM MONDAY 5 MAY

It is with regret that I have to inform you that I have taken the decision to CLOSE Ossett Town Hall from this coming Monday 5 May. Walton Sports and Social Club in Wakefield will remain open every Tuesday night and is doing well. The Walton venue has a superb dance floor and great atmosphere. We hope that our Ossett jivers will be able to keep up their dancing and join us every Tuesday night at Walton.

Northern Jive runs Modern Jive classes as well as freestyle events and workshops in South and West Yorks. We pride ourselves on providing you with the very best in tuition as well as great social night out. We hold class nights in Birdwell (Barnsley), Walton (Wakefield) and Ossett (Wakefield) as well as freestyle events at 2 great venues in Sheffield and Elsecar (Barnsley).

Come along and learn this exiting new dance. The cost is just £6 and there's no need to bring a partner. Beginners' class starts at 7.30pm. Intermediate/Review class 8.45pm. Dancing till 10.30pm.

A wide range of music from slow sensual blues, or contemporary latin to modern chart mix compliment the evening which is not to be missed by both experienced dancers and beginners.
