Firstly, may I take this opportunity to thank the fabulous Myles Munroe & Tessa Cunningham for their recent debut visit to the UK and for sharing their informative, fun teaching style and performance skills with us! Despite the heat, it was a fantastic weekend with dancers attending from all over the UK, Wales, France and even Norway! I still have some DVDs left over for purchase. Contact Cat for available titles, prices etc. Let me know your feedback as there are talks about bringing M&T back for 2009!
Paul and I are jetting off again to the States in a matter of hours, this time to the Phoenix “4th of July” WCS Convention which is most well known for its amazingly competitive Jack & Jill comps! We will be trying our luck and once again representing the UK in the Advanced category. Meanwhile, West Coast Swing Wednesdays will run in the capable hands of Kevin, Ed and the team. See you on our return on Wed 9 July!
2. New Series Of WCS Courses, Petts Wood With Paul Warden Commencing Thurs 10 July – Almost Sold Out!
I am pleased to announce we have finalized details for a further two WCS courses with UK WCS Champ Paul Warden, ably assisted by UK Rising Star, Rachel Martino in Petts Wood. The first is an Improver Continuation Course to follow the Improver Course which completed on May 15. The second is a True Intermediate Level Course, (must have attended one of the Improver Courses to book on to this one!) In addition, we are offering a two-part WCS “FUNdamentals” Workshop for those that are new to the dance which will give good grounding for any future Improver Courses and will compliment Steve & Jan’s weekly Sunday freestyle/practice sessions at the same venue.
Discount offered for those booking on to both courses and/or all workshops. Be sure to respond quickly to secure your early bird place!
