Hi Jivers   MATT JUDGE TEACHING AT ASKERN MINERS' WELFARE, SUNDAY 31 AUGUST   The spectacular MATT JUDGE assisted by his lovely wife Sue will be teaching beg and intermediate class this Sunday (31st Aug) at Askern.  Matt has been teaching modern jive for many years and is renounded for his smooth and sophisticated style.  So if you fancy something a bit special to add to your repertoire - don't miss this Sunday's class.  Beg class 7.30pm.  Int class 8.45pm. NORTHERN JIVE BANK HOLIDAY FREESTYLES & CLASSES

Hi Jivers 2 BANK HOLIDAY FREESTYLES AT ASKERN, DONCASTER We have 2 freestyles coming up over the bank holiday weekend at Askern Miners Welfare Club. The first freestyle on Friday 22 Aug is our regular monthly event and as most of you will be taking bank holiday Monday off, we are making our regular Sunday class night (24 Aug) a freestyle night as well. Guest DJ Sue (Friday) and resident DJ Simon (Sunday) will be playing some great music and we will be welcoming dancers from all over South Yorks and the North. The theme is "Dress to Impress" on both Friday and Sunday. Doors open Friday 8pm and Sunday 7.30pm and we will be dancing through till 11.45pm on Friday and 11.30pm on Sunday. Admission £7. Pay on door. HOSPITAL CLUB, BARNSLEY CLOSED THIS THURSDAY 21 AUGUST Due to a prior booking the Hospital Club in Barnsley will be CLOSED this Thursday 21 August for ONE WEEK ONLY. Classes will RESUME on 28 August. KEN TEACHING BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY 25 AUG AT WORSBOROUGH SPORTS & DEVELOPMENT CLUB Its business as usual this Bank Holiday Monday at Worsborough. KEN will be providing the classes this week. With its superb large dance floor, and selection of top instructors Worsborough is attracting both new and experienced dancers and numbers are growing every week. HARRY TEACHING TUESDAY 26 AUG AT WALTON, WAKEFIELD Join us next Tuesday 26th at the lovely Walton Sports and Social Club venue. HARRY will be our guest instructor. HARRY teaches regularly at the Barnsley and Doncaster venues as well as at Chesterfield. His teaching style is smooth and easy to follow and he's very popular amongst both beginner and intermediate level dancers. Have a great Bank Holiday weekend and hope to see you soon. Hi Jivers HARRY TEACHING TUESDAY 5 AUG AT WALTON, WAKEFIELD & SUN 10 AUG AT ASKERN, DONCASTER Join us tonight at the lovely Walton Sports and Social Club venue and/or at Askern Miners' Welfare Club on Sunday 10 Aug. HARRY will be our guest instructor on both nights. HARRY teaches regularly at the Barnsley and Doncaster venues as well as at Chesterfield. His teaching style is smooth and easy to follow and he's very popular amongst both beginner and intermediate level dancers. He will be assisted by Jacqui on Tuesday and Janine on Sunday - both are very accomplished and stylish dancers. Hi Jivers JATINDER TEACHING THIS WED 30 JULY AT PARKLANDS Join us this Wednesday 30 July at the lovely Parklands venue. Parklands is not far from the City centre and the venue has full air conditioning so even in this searing heat - you'll stay cool as a cucumber. JATINDER will also be our guest instructor so you're sure to have a fun night. JATINDER BACK AGAIN - THIS SUNDAY 3 AUG AT ASKERN In spite of the heat, we had a fab night last Sunday at Askern Miners Welfare, as jivers turned out for a great night of dancing and 2 great fun classes taught by JATINDER. So if you missed him last week, you have a second chance to join us again this Sunday 3rd Aug for another fun night. Jatinder will be teaching beginners' class around 7.30pm and intermediate class at around 8.45pm. NORTHERN JIVE CLASS NIGHT EVERY TUESDAY IN WAKEFIELD Join us for a great night of Modern Jive classes every Tuesday at Walton Sports & Social Club. The venue has superb dance floor and great atmosphere and is attracting new jivers every week. Hi Jivers PARKLANDS JUNE FREESTYLE POSTPONED TO FRIDAY 4 JULY Due to circumstances beyond our control we have postponed the Parklands freestyle scheduled for this Friday 27th June to the following FRIDAY 4 JULY. We are making it a fun theme night with stars, stripes, red, white and or blue dress code (not compulsory). The Parklands venue has a superb large ballroom dance floor and is fully air conditioned. Music from top DJ Simon. Plus chocolate fountain. Doors open 8.00pm and dancing till 11.45pm. Early arrival is recommended. PARKLANDS CLASS NIGHT, WEDNESDAY 25 JUNE - GUEST INSTRUCTOR JATINDER Top Instructor Jatinder Singh will be teaching this Wednesday at the lovely Parklands venue. Beginners class 7.30pm. Parklands is close to the city centre (on Wheatley Hall Road) it has a specialist ballroom dance floor and air-conditioning system, so you'll stay cool no matter how much you dance.
